The boiler bands are determined by the SEDBUK (Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the UK)
SAP efficiency rating. Band C boilers have an efficiency rating of between 82% – 86%. Boilers within this Band C category will not be eligible for the Government Boiler Scrappage Scheme grant of upto £400.
